CBT for Hot Flushes & Night Sweats

Introduction

Hot flushes and night sweats are among the most disruptive symptoms of menopause. They can affect sleep, confidence, work and quality of life.

As a Registered Nurse and member of the British Menopause Society, I have completed specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches specifically designed to help women manage these symptoms using practical, evidence-based techniques.

This programme is delivered as psychoeducation. It is not counselling or psychotherapy. It is a structured, educational course where you learn skills and strategies that you can use yourself.

This approach is recognised within guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence as a helpful non-pharmacological option for managing menopause symptoms.

This is psychoeducation, not therapy or general menopause consultation

This programme specifically addresses hot flushes and night sweats. It is a psychoeducation programme — not therapy, not counselling, and not a general menopause consultation. If you have medical concerns about your menopause or overall health, please speak to your GP
