Has this been tested in randomised controlled trials? Is this recommended by NICE or any recognised clinical body? Is the person delivering this qualified and regulated? Are they being honest about what their product or service can and cannot do? If the answer to most of these is no — or if the claims sound too good to be true — that is worth pausing on.
