Menopause support in Northern Ireland —
Nurse-led CBT, health talks and complementary therapies
Introduction
If you're looking for professional menopause support in Northern Ireland, Aroma Therapie Suite offers a range of services designed to help. Led by Fiona Brown, a Registered Nurse with specialist training in CBT for menopausal symptoms, the service combines evidence-based support with complementary therapies for relaxation and wellbeing.
I offer five core services:
CBT for Hot Flushes & Night Sweats — a structured, six-session psychoeducation programme that gives you practical, evidence-based skills to manage hot flushes and night sweats. Recommended by NICE. Available as a private 1:1 programme or in a small group.
Health Awareness Talks — honest, practical health information for individuals, community groups and workplaces. Available in 30, 60 or 90 minute formats, tailored to your audience.
Self-Care Workshops — small, intimate workshops for a maximum of four people, combining practical reflexology and aromatherapy techniques with everyday self-care guidance. Tailored to your needs — whether that is stress relief, better sleep or simply time for yourself. — a structured complementary therapy using precise pressure on the feet to support deep relaxation and general wellbeing. VTCT Level 4 qualified, AoR registered.
Aromatherapy Massage — a personalised massage using a bespoke blend chosen from over 40 high quality essential oils — exclusively for women. IFA qualified practitioner.

Are these services suitable for me?
All services are available to women aged 18 and over
A brief health consultation is carried out before every first appointment — please mention any health conditions, allergies or skin sensitivities, even if you are unsure whether they are relevant
There are some circumstances where a treatment may not be appropriate or where adaptations may be needed — I will always be honest with you about what is suitable for you personally
Reflexology, aromatherapy massage and self-care workshops are not currently available during pregnancy or for women who are trying to conceive — please speak to your GP or midwife for guidance on appropriate options
If you have any questions about suitability before booking, please just get in touch — I am always happy to have that conversation.
I am a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of clinical experience, based in Dungannon, County Tyrone, and the founder of Aroma Therapie Suite.
Throughout my nursing career I have supported women at every stage of their lives — and I have seen first-hand how often menopause symptoms are endured quietly, without practical support or space to talk about what is really happening. That experience — alongside my own challenging journey through menopause — is what led me to create Aroma Therapie Suite.
I hold specialist training in CBT for hot flushes and night sweats through the British Menopause Society, a VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Reflexology (AoR registered) and a qualification in aromatherapy (IFA member). I also hold a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Safety and Health and a Postgraduate Certificate in Practice Nursing.
I am regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and work within the NMC Code at all times. I hold full professional indemnity and public liability insurance across all services.
Everything I offer is grounded in proper training, professional accountability and lived experience. You are in safe, qualified and very caring hands.
Reflexology is based on the principle that the feet contain reflex points which correspond to every organ, system and structure in the body. By working systematically across these points using specialist pressure techniques, I aim to encourage deep relaxation and support the body's natural ability to rebalance and restore wellbeing.
It is important to understand that reflexology is not foot massage. It is a distinct, structured therapy that requires specialist training — I hold a VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Reflexology and am a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists (professional body for reflexologists).
Your first session will always begin with a full health and lifestyle consultation so that I can understand your individual needs and tailor the treatment accordingly. Many clients find reflexology profoundly relaxing and a meaningful way to support their general health and wellbeing alongside their everyday life.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy offered for relaxation and general wellbeing. It is not a diagnostic tool and does not treat, diagnose or cure medical conditions. If you have any health concerns, please consult your GP.
I am a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience, regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Safety and Health and a Postgraduate Certificate in Practice Nursing — qualifications that reflect not just clinical knowledge but a deep understanding of how health, work and everyday life intersect.
My CBT programme is delivered following specialist training with the British Menopause Society and reflects the latest NICE guidance. My reflexology practice is underpinned by a VTCT Level 4 Diploma and AoR membership, and my aromatherapy by IFA qualification and membership.
What that means for you in practice — everything I offer comes from a place of genuine expertise, professional accountability and a real commitment to doing things properly. You are in safe, qualified and very caring hands.
